Expectations were that energy bills were going to rise by an average of 46% in October.
Analysts are now advising that the increase to energy bills are expected to be much higher than previously feared, with the average increase predicted to be at least 65% and posssibly as high as 82%.
If your concerned about your energy costs rising this winter, then please consider attending the Webinar that Utility Aid in partnership with CSCBG will be holding on 12th September 2022
Don’t forget that the price cap does not apply to commercial premises. In fact, there is no price cap on business energy, which means that suppliers can increase their out of contract rates by as much as they see necessary to cover their increased costs.
The Webinar will provide an overview of the energy market and include the following:
* The reasons for the increase in energy prices and current price volatility
* What you can do to help reduce cost now including the practical things you can do to change and check that you’re not being overcharged.
* This will be followed by a Q&A session where people can get advice or answers to burning questions they have.
Date: Monday 12th September starting at 10:30am.
The Webinar will be conducted on Teams
