History, Background and Vision

Christian Supply Chain Buying Group (CSCBG) was set up to support Christian and other charitable organisations.  By helping them to save time, money and resource on everyday purchases, they can can release funds into their God-given mission.

We believe God calls us to be good stewards of our resources.  So, by using the principle of economies of scale across our member base, we negotiate improved pricing and discounts through our recommended suppliers.  Some of these suppliers are Christian, but all must align with our Christian ethos and approach. 

CSCBG has been operating in the UK since 2014 and is a serving ministry of Christian Residential Network ( formerly CCI UK Ltd), a non-denominational membership association of Christian residential organisation across the UK, ministering in the UK and to the wider CCI Global family.  It is linked internationally with CSCBG Australia, CSCBG New Zealand and CSCBG South Africa.  The brand CSCBG originated with New Zealand in 2003, has a long history of providing discounts and purchasing benefits to its member base and has worked toward enabling the Global CCI family to benefit from their success.  Profits generated by CSCBG UK are given to CRNet (Formerly CCI UK) to support its work within Christian residential ministries, with specific focus on impacting more lives with the gospel. 

CRNet operates a Bursary Fund to assist disadvantaged children and young people to attend Christian holidays and conferences, who without financial help would be unable to attend. See more details here đź‘‰ DAVID CHILCOT FUND

"I joined CRNet / CSCBG as the Office Manager in 2018 switching to the role of Finance Manager is 2022.  I really enjoy relating with people, managing databases, and all the clerical responsibilites my role offers me.  Prior to this I worked for The Open University for over 14 years, most within the Research Degrees Office, supporting students and academic supervisors through the PhD journey.  Part of the role was working with other research degree centres, who in themselves didn't have degree awarding capability, but completed their degrees through the OU.  This experience in supporting them in navigating the complex regulations and requirements to enable their students to successfully complete their research degrees, was invaluable transferring to supporting residential centres and members of the CSC Buying Group."
